Poetry

I am trying to learn to understand poetry and what I have first learned is that what makes it poetry may be the ability to not truly understand it.

I am reading Mark Yakich's Poetry: A survivor's guide. It is helpful. And I am intrigued by the fact that some poetry is in essence a word puzzle. I like puzzles and words so we shall see what comes of it.
